Be One stories

The new XT3

In its purest sense, skiing is all about the down. Exhilaration in defiance of nature. The fight against gravity’s pull. Every skier can identify that epic day that’s forever etched in their mind. A day filled with adventure, powder, and unbelievable terrain.

BE ONE WITH YOUR GOAL: CHASING CLÉMENT

From the start gate to the finish, from the athlete to his boots, racing is the transmission of power and energy. From generation to generation, World Champions to the youngest athletes, the transmission of an indescribable passion.

BE ONE MONTEBELLUNA

Just think about it. Aside from your poles, your ski boot is the only piece of equipment that touches and interacts with your body. With so many movements and variables, skiing is an inherently complex sport. And as the critical link between you and your skis, it makes sense that your boots go through an intensive engineering and development process.

BE ONE MARIE-PIER PREFONTAINE

Above her, the peaks are immense. Forget the clouds and crusty snow conditions, Marie-Pier remembers the experience, the foundation for her entry into her new life. This trip into the wild, and all she knows of her native Canada, all seems a little smaller now.
During this trip with her new friends: Frenchman, Vivian Bruchez; freelance Quebecer, Sophie Lechasseur; and American, Forrest Coots, Marie-Pier says she has, “learned so much. It's an entirely new practice with new skill-sets I have to learn. I really enjoyed discovering it in this state of mind, with this great team.”

BE ONE WITH YOUR GOAL: SKI PATROL

It’s almost closing day. The recent blast of high-pressure shows no signs of retreat, signaling the inevitable; another ski season come and gone. After 110+ days on snow, I feel it in every part of my body.

BE ONE WITH YOUR GOAL

To climb and descend the iconic Mont Blanc. This was the goal Marie-Laure presented last season during the inaugural “What’s Your Goal?” contest. Sitting as the tallest peak in the Alps at 15,777ft, it was an ambitious goal to say the least. And through her pure perseverance, one she ultimately brought to reality on May 11th, 2018.

Be One Dual Core

Standing in the start, waiting to explode from the gate. Staring down your line, getting ready to drop. Before time slows down and your surroundings blur in the periphery, – before, “5, 43, 2”… you reach down with purpose and snap each buckle into place, the boot wrapping around your foot and lower leg.

BE ONE WITH YOUR GOAL SOPHIE LECHASSEUR AND SKIING TOWARD HER DREAM

With her eyes fixed on the mountains and an ever-present smile, Sophie Lechasseur ran towards her dream of skiing. Every day, every slope; following the snow where it fell to leave only her tracks behind

JEAN-FRED CHAPUIS ON HIS WAY FOR A NEW VICTORY

Cameras from all over the world are fixed on the Russian city, capturing the 22nd Winter Olympic Games. It's 2:00pm. The time of the men's skier cross final, one of the youngest and most spectacular Olympic disciplines. The world of skiing meets the world of pugilism. The kingdom of speed and aggression. On the start line, three Frenchmen and one Canadian. Three teammates, one opponent.

RICHARD PERMIN, A RESURRECTION IN THE LAND OF THE RISING SUN

Heading for Japan and its powder snow to ease himself back into its pleasures having broken both heels two years ago, the freerider was back on the right track, the one which will lead to Alaska at the end of the season. In his luggage was half a century of Lange expertise to put him at his ease so he could be at one with his boots and with his aim to get back to skiing, pleasure and living.

GOING WALL-TO-WALL AT JACKSON HOLE

Jackson Hole. Set against the jagged, iconic peaks of the Teton Mountain Range, this legendary town instantly conjures images in the minds of skiers around the world. It’s a mountain that intimidates as much as inspires. A land of cowboys and home-town heroes. Dishwashers who ski 150 days a year and iconic athletes that have made their names pushing the limits of the sport. It’s a playground that tests the nerves and skills of anyone who visits. A resort littered with “bucket-list” lines and access to unforgiving backcountry terrain. If you think you’re good; you probably haven’t been to Jackson.

PATH OF GLORY

LANGE shares the same values of elite athletes around the world. Daily commitment and relentless focus on our goal allow us to deliver the world’s best ski boots. A vision that comes from our ability to repeat the same processes day after day, until we develop the perfect mechanics.
