Forrest COOTS

My winter is starting line up with projects, In January I'm planning on travelling up to the interior of British Columbia, for a week long road trip exploring Canada's powder highway. There is also a discussion of a dynastar team trip to the Republic of Georgia to explore the regions freeride touring possibilities. In April, I'm hoping to travel to the great white north to Alaska and fly into the Alaska range for a several week long ski mountaineering project. I've also got a return trip back to Peru on my mind, to try and climb and ski several peaks in the Cordillera Blanca. I've got some unfinished business down there.

That perfect line, that required

Currently, it's passing on my love of skiing to my son, he's only 2.5, this winter we have had several days, where we have been out ski touring and he is on my back in his carrying backpack and we skied low angle powder but hearing him laugh and yell more and faster. It's as great a memory as all the steep exposed lines I've skied in remote corners of the world.
